Functional Description

The Moog filter-status sensor uses the differential pressure drop across the HP020 filter element to activate a SPDT switch. When the filter element is sufficiently blocked to cause a substantial differential pressure drop (here > 100PSI) the sensor flips the switch from the normally closed to normally open position. On the module, a steady-lit green LED indicates that the filter element is fine. A red flashing LED indicated the non-critical condition that the filter element needs replacing.
