Assembly - standing
- Mount adjustable feet (4) on base.
- Align base with the off-centered hole farthest from the wall so the adjustable side (and crank) will be closest to the wall.
- Place 27"x 4"x ½" plates (2) on the middle two beams of the base frame of the fixed side.
- Place 23"x 10"x ¾" plate (1) on top of the two plates on the fixed end. The end with 3 holes at each corner is near the outer edge of base.
- Place 30"x 4"x ½" plates (2) on the middle two beams of the base frame of the adjustable side.
- Put lubricant on the two plates.
- Place 23"x 10"x ¾" plate (1) on top of the two plates on the adjustable side.
- Use M14x60 bolts (8) from the bottom (nuts are on top) to secure the plates on the base frame.
- Assemble crank mechanism.
- Attach crank mechanisms to the adjustable end M10x40 (3) and M10x80 (2) screws.
- Place 5.625"x2.5x1" blocks (4) to support the actuators.
- Place actuators on top of blocks and attach to base using M10x90 (4) and M10x120 (4) screws
- Assemble torque transducer, cams, and couplings.
- Place torque transducer assembly on actuator shaft
- Attach brackets (8) using M10x40 screws. Make sure cam is centered between the brackets.
- Assemble the two U-shaped foot pedal holders using M6 screws (12).
- Attach U-shaped foot pedal holder using M5x15 screws (32).
- Mount foot pedals using M10x25 flat head screws (4).
- Mount handrails using M8x50 bolts and nuts (8).
- Attach U-shaped brackets using nuts and bolts (4).
- Attach cowlings to base plate using M10x20 buttonhead bolts and nuts.
- Attach base plates using M10x20 buttonhead screws (use nuts and bolts to attach base plates to U brackets).
- Place clamp bars along edge of base and secure with M8x25 flat head screws (6).
